We are extremely tired after our open house duty but here we are, keeping our promise to update daily! We had loads of fun today but oh gosh, this is going to be a rather depressing post...
Tonight, we are going to share about what will Tyrosinemia Type I lead to if it is not diagnosed and treated in time. :(
What happens if tyrosinemia is left untreated?
- Cirrhosis of liver, and eventually liver failure
- Kidney failure
- Rickets, a bone thinning condition
- Problems affecting the nervous system, such as polyneuropathy (pain & numbness in some parts of the body), seizures etc
- Increased risk of liver cancer
We know it's pretty sad and scary but don't get too affected by these okay?
